Ballabhgarh/Faridabad, May 4, 2024 -Former Chief Minister Manohar Lal launched a scathing attack on the Congress at the Ballabhgarh Vijay Sankalp Rally on Saturday. He said that the Congress has reached a point where it is fighting to save its existence in this Lok Sabha election. Manohar Lal likened Congress to the Kauravas and said that this election is like the battle between the Kauravas and the Pandavas. In this electoral battle, the character of the Congress is like that of the Kauravas. He said that the Congress, devoid of leadership, has no vision for the country’s development. The Congress is only dreaming of coming to power based on false slogans of poverty alleviation, which the public will never fulfill. In the rally, Manohar Lal highlighted the achievements of the Modi government. He said that this election is not a regular one; it’s about making Narendra Modi the Prime Minister for the third time. This election is about developing the country and the state. Central Minister Krishnpal Gurjar, Cabinet Minister Mulchand Sharma, Education Minister Seema Trikha, among others, also addressed the Vijay Sankalp Rally.

Taking a dig at the Congress, Manohar Lal said that the Congress is divided into factions. The Congress lacks any policy for the country’s development. Congress leaders are stumbling in this election. The atmosphere in Haryana and the country is in favor of BJP. The public loves Narendra Modi, and for the third time, the public has made up its mind to take BJP beyond 400 seats.
He said that the Modi government has worked in a planned manner to eliminate poverty. In the last ten years, more than 25 crore people have risen above the poverty line through poverty alleviation schemes.

Krishnpal Gurjar, BJP candidate, said that there were property dealings during Congress rule. Before 2014, the job of Congress governments was to plunder land. Instead of developing, Congress governments focused on the development of themselves and their families. He said that Manohar Lal formulated policies to secure farmers’ land. Today, farmers decide the rates of their lands at their will.

Moolchand Sharma, Cabinet Minister, said that Ballabhgarh was in a bad condition before 2014. There was waterlogging everywhere in Ballabhgarh. He said that after 2014, under the leadership of Manohar Lal, the government of Ballabhgarh has undertaken extensive development work, and the picture of Ballabhgarh Vidhan Sabha has changed. Many schools have been provided in the area, community buildings have been provided, and the construction of an elevated bridge started for the first time from Ballabhgarh in South Haryana. He said that the BJP government approved the construction of an elevated bridge worth Rs 214 crore. Shri Sharma said that a gift of an expressway was given to go to Jevar Airport.
