This outstanding achievement has not only brought glory to his family but has also marked a new milestone. Shining on his city and alma mater. Bhanu Pratap’s success journey is no less than an inspiration. Born into a family deeply rooted in the ethos of public service, the youngest child of retired Indian Police Service officer Bharat Singh Yadav, Bhanu had a passion for administrative roles from her early years. After graduating from HBTU Kanpur with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he immersed himself in the technical field while harboring his dream of joining the civil services. Inspired by the invaluable experiences of his IPS father and the wisdom of his computer engineer elder brother Prajwal Singh Yadav, Bhanu moved forward with dedication towards his goal. His unwavering determination, coupled with the tireless support of his family and mentors, resulted in his remarkable success in the 2023 Civil Services Examination. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Sports Authority of India (SAI) in Jammu, Bhanu has assumed the responsibility of overseeing the Khelo India Mission in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. His appointment is a testament to his commitment to promoting excellence in sports and youth development. The family, headed by Bharat Singh Yadav, a retired DIG from Shahjahanpur, UP, who now lives in Lucknow, shares his pride with his wife Rajkumari Yadav and their three accomplished children, daughter Dr. Divya and two sons Prajwal and Bhanu. Daughter Divya is a dentist by profession and is married to Nishant Narayan, a 2011 batch Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer posted in Northern Railway, New Delhi. Elder son Prajwal Singh Yadav is a software engineer by profession and is working at a high position in a multinational company. Singh’s own accolades, including the President’s Medal for excellent services, amplify the family’s pride as Bhanu’s success in the Civil Services Examination further enhances their honor and joy.
