He reiterated the party’s promises and appealed to the electorate to reinstate its “trustworthy” government in the state.
Amid a heavy presence of police and paramilitary forces, polling got underway in the first phase of the Chhattisgarh elections, marking a critical moment in the state’s political landscape.
