The Impressive TimesKhammam, Telangana – March 9, 2024– In the early hours of Saturday, approximately 15 individuals sustained injuries in a distressing incident when a private travel bus overturned on the Suryapet-Khammam National Highway near Kusumanchi in Telangana’s Khammam district.
The bus, carrying 31 passengers, was en route to Rajamahendravaram (Rajahmundry) from Hyderabad when it lost control, causing the accident, as confirmed by local authorities.
The injured victims were promptly transported to a government hospital in Khammam for necessary medical attention and treatment.
According to preliminary reports from the police, the primary cause of the accident was attributed to overspeeding.
