Kurukshetra , 31 Jan 2024– Haryana Sikhs Sangat has lauded CM Manohar Lal’s contributions for the community and the citizens of the state. The occasion was a book launch ceremony at Geeta Auditorium in Kurukshetra University where the Chief Minister was the chief guest. He released the book titled ‘ Sikhs of Haryana and Khattar” edited by Dr. Prabhlin Singh.
It chronicles the remarkable contributions of the CM Manohar Lal to the Sikh community. Addressing the gathering,the renowned industrialist and environmentalist from Faridabad, S.S. Banga thanked him for the grant of land to Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Trust in Sector 15 and Sikh Sangat. A separate Gurdwara Management Committee has been created for Haryana so that the Sikh community living here need not visit Delhi for minority certificate. The money coming to the Gurdwaras of Haryana will be spent in the Gurdwaras here. He also expressed gratitude to CM Manohar Lal for standing by the Sikh community and
the initiative to take care of 52 historical Gurdwaras of Haryana.
The MD of Voctora Tools, Shri Banga told that the state is making waves in the world of industry.He said, earlier Maruti was only in Gurugram catering to provide employment to Haryana and the factories working here. Now, Haryana will be more prosperous with the second plant of Maruti coming up in Kharkhoda. Once it starts, the industries and people here will also be benefitted. Apart from this, IMT Gurgaon and IMT Faridabad have attracted not only domestic but foreign industrial units and people got employment. Shri Banga reminded that under the leadership of CM Manohar Lal, IMT Faridabad was set up by bringing transparency in land acquisition. During his tenure, plots were given to the plot holders as per online application and online rate of the plot.
On this occasion, Dr. Prabhleen Singh, Sardar Trilochan Singh ji, Karnal MP Sanjay Bhatia, Sardar Bhupendra Singh, Sant Jodh Singh ji, Shri Jagdeep Singh ji, Ramnik Mann ji and Mrs. Harpreet Kaur, Shri Kabir Singh ji, Dr. HS Gill ji, Haryana Sports Minister Shri Sandeep Singh ji and other dignitaries were present.
