New Delhi, 14 November, 2023- Former media advisor to Haryana CM Manohar Lal, Amit Arya has been entrusted with a major role in the central government. Recognizing his commendable work, the central government has appointed him as a Senior Media Consultant. In this capacity, Arya will provide valuable insights to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, contributing to the dissemination of central government initiatives. Under this new responsibility, Amit Arya will oversee the publicity and broadcasting of central government schemes in the states of Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir. His focus will be on strengthening the government’s communication strategy, ensuring that these initiatives reach the general public effectively. Briefing about Amit Arya, he is a graduate of Shimla University, Arya brings over 20 years of editorial experience in news channels and media organizations. He is known for his articulate and amicable personality and will also enhance the Information and Broadcasting Ministry’s information systems by offering his suggestions. In his past, he has severed as the media advisor to Haryana CM Manohar Lal for nine consecutive years since 2014 and resigned from his position two months ago. Now, he embraces this new responsibility with enthusiasm and dedication.
