The accused brought the victim to an abandoned house as she was playing outside their home, according to the victim’s father. Then, according to TOI, he undressed and made an attempt to rape her. But the man was forced to run as other monkeys attacked him violently. Surrounding CCTV footage showed the man strolling down a small path with my daughter. He is yet to be identified. The victim’s parents reported the event to the closest police station after it happened.
According to Baghpat circle officer Harish Bhadoria, the police have filed a formal complaint (FIR) against the accused under BNS sections 74 (assault or use of criminal force against women with intent to outrage her modesty), 76 (assault or use of criminal force against woman with intent to disrobe), and the Pocso Act.
