Faridabad, 30 November: Haryana Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal participated in the commemoration of the 165th birth anniversary of renowned Indian scientist Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad.
In a Program organized by the University, the Chief Minister offered floral tributes and garlanding the bust of Jagadish Chandra Bose on the University premises. Shri Manohar Lal emphasized Bose’s visionary contributions, stating that his life serves as a role model for young researchers who should draw inspiration from the great Indian scientist.
It may be noted that the University was named after Jagadish Chandra Bose in 2018, recognizing his significant contributions to science, as announced by Chief Minister Shri Manohar in a program organized by the University in 2017.
During the event, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tomar briefed the Chief Minister on academic and developmental initiatives by the University.
The occasion witnessed the presence of Haryana Higher Education Minister Shri Mool Chand Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of JC Bose University Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar, MLAs Shri Narendra Gupta, Smt. Seema Trikha, along with senior officials from the University and the District Administration.
