TWO RECIEVERS OF STOLEN ITEMS ARRESTED BY JOINT TEAM OF SPECIAL STAFF AND PS RAJENDER NAGAR OF CENTRAL DISTRICT

TWO PERSONS ARRESTED BY THE JOINT TEAM OF SPECIAL STAFF & PS RAJENDER NAGAR.

New Delhi, 9 April, 2024- On 02.04.2024, five different cases of burglary were registered at PS Rajender Nagar, wherein few laptops, mobile phones along with other articles were reported to be stolen from different rooms of an apartment in Old Rajender Nagar, New Delhi.

 TEAM AND INVESTIGATION-

To work upon these theft cases, a joint team of Special staff comprising SI Ombeer Singh Tyagi, ASI Sanjeev, HC Sachin, HC Sheotaj, HC Dheeraj, HC Mukesh, Ct Surendra, Ct Lokendra and Ct Gorav, along with SI Gourav and Ct Ankit of PS Rajendra Nagar was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Rohit Kumar, I/C Special Staff and overall supervision of Sh. Suresh, ACP/Ops.

The team deputed various secret informers and mounted technical surveillance. On 05.04.2024, secret information was received that one receiver of stolen properties is residing at Roorkee, Haridwar, Uttrakhand. Accordingly, as per the information, the joint team raided at Sainipuram, Roorkee Haridwar, Uttrakhand, where one person namely Deepak was found running a laptop repairing shop. On search two stolen i-Pads from PS-Rajender Nagar were recovered from his shop. Further, on his instance another accused namely Rahil Khan R/o Azad Nagar Ram Nagar, Roorkee, Haridwar, Uttrakhand, was also apprehended and 07 laptops along with one more I-Pad were recovered from his possession.

During further interrogation, accused Rahil Khan disclosed that he used to receive stolen articles from Sumoile Khan, Shiraj, Shah Alam. Accordingly, both the accused persons have been arrested in the case and further efforts are going on to trace the other accused persons in the case.
