AN ACCUSED OF DOWRY CASE, WHO WAS EVADING HIS ARREST FROM COURT PROCEEDINGS, SO DECLARED PROCLAIMED OFFENDER (PO) TRACED AND ARRESTED BY THE TEAM OF PS GULABI BAGH, NORTH DISTRICT

ONE PROCLAIMED OFFENDER (PO) WANTED IN A CASE OF DOWRY, REGISTERED AGAINST HIM IN THE YEAR 2013, NABBED BY THE TEAM OF PP ANDHA MUGHAL, PS GULABI BAGH.

New Delhi, 4 April, 2024– In continuation to the on-going Special Drive launched by PS Gulabi Bagh of North District to nab the Proclaimed Offenders, Absconding criminals, Jail, Bail and Parole Jumpers as well as tracking down the absent BCs was reactivated by constituting a designated PO arresting team with expertise in catching such criminals. The concerted continuous efforts and hard work of the team has paid overwhelming results and in this process, the team of PS Gulabi Bagh has arrested one Proclaimed Offender during this drive on 02.04.2024.

TEAM, INFORMATION & ACTION:
As per the directions of the senior officers, the dedicated team of PS Gulabi Bagh comprising SI Ramesh Chand (In-charge PP Andha Mughal) and Ct Deepak was working relentlessly to gather information regarding Proclaimed Offenders in Delhi and other areas of NCR, under the close supervision of Inspr. Shiv Dutt Jaimini, SHO/PS Gulabi Bagh and guidance of Shri Jitendera Patel, ACP/Sub-Division, Sarai Rohilla, Delhi.

The accused Dharmender, r/o Allah Colony Mandawali, Delhi, who was wanted in a case FIR No. 08/13 u/s 498-A/406/34 IPC, PS Gulabi Bagh. He was released on court bail, in above said case, but during the course of trial he jumped the bail and did not appear in the court. Non-appearance of the accused Dharmender caused a delay in trial around 10 years in above said case. Accordingly, he was d

eclared as Proclaimed Offender (PO) by the Hon’ble Court of Ld. MM (Mahilla Court), Tis Hazari, Delhi, vide order dated 08.06.2023.

During search, the details of above said accused person were checked in police records through JXXX SXXXX and it came to know that he is running in Judicial Custody in another case of Hurt i.e. FIR No. 483/15 u/s 323/341/506 IPC, PS Madhu Vihar, Delhi. Consequently, production warrant of accused person Dharmender was obtained from the concerned court and he was arrested in case FIR No. 08/13 u/s 498-A/406/34 IPC, PS Gulabi Bagh and the accused/offender was produced before the concerned Hon’ble Court well in time.
