DAV 37 Organized DAV National Sports under aegis of DAVCMC

Faridabad , 4 January , 2024-‘Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.’ It is rightly said that the real cricket talent emerges from young blood and schools, so, with a motto to provide an opportunity to hone the emerging talents and develop the spirit of sportsmanship, D.A.V. Public, Sector 37, Faridabad under the aegis of DAVCMC, New Delhi, is organising the prestigious DAV Nationals Sports – Cricket Tournament for Girls and Boys from 4th January to 10th January, 2024.

Excitement is rife in the air, as the journey begins with feisty DAVians, from various branches of DAV pan India, assembling at the host school for the Mega Tournament. It will be a treat to witness the fierce competition and the saga of unmatched grit and determination as the teams battle it out at the turfs, vying for the much-coveted Championship. The tournament will kick-start from 4th January, 2024 at various venues along the lengths of Faridabad, bearing a testament of the cricketing prowess of the champions from Uttarakhand, Bihar- Sikkim, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh-Telengana- Karnataka, Chandigarh-Panchkula, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, Odisha, West Bengal-Manipur and Jharkhand as they set out to clash in the Under 14, Under 17 and Under 19 Categories. The School Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota extended her warm welcome and assured that no stone would be left unturned to make the entire series a heart-warming and memorable one.
