MP Sunita Duggal flagged off inaugural stoppage of Malda Town-Bhatinda-Malda Town Farakka Express Train no. 13483/13484 at Tohana Railway Station

New Delhi , 26.01.2024– The Member of Parliament (Loksabha) Sunita Duggal, alongside officers of Delhi Division, marked a significant milestone today as she flagged off the inaugural stoppage of the Malda Town-Bhatinda-Malda Town Farakka Express Train no. 13483/13484 at Tohana Railway Station.

The introduction of this stoppage signifies a crucial addition to the railway connectivity in the region. Tohana Railway Station, nestled on the Delhi-Bhatinda rail section, will now serve as a pivotal point for passengers commuting on this route.

According to the schedule, Train no. 13483 Malda Town-Bhatinda Farakka Express, originating from Malda Town on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, will arrive at Tohana Railway Station at 07:58 hrs., departing at 08:00 hrs. Similarly, Train no. 13484 Bhatinda-Malda Town Farakka Express, departing from Bhatinda on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, will arrive at Tohana Railway Station at 17:42 hrs., departing at 17:44 hrs.

Expressing her views on the occasion, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Loksabha) Smt. Sunita Duggal emphasized the significance of this stoppage for the residents of Tohana and its neighboring areas, highlighting the convenience and accessibility it brings to the passengers.
