Ayodhya, December 2, 2023- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath embarked on a spiritual journey today in Ayodhya, where he performed the aarti of Lord Hanuman at Hanuman Garhi and offered prayers during his one-day visit to the temple town.
Following the ritual at Hanuman Garhi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended prayers for the well-being and prosperity of the people of the country and the state at the shrine of Lord Ram. He then inquired about the progress of the construction of the Ram temple from members of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
Accompanying the Chief Minister on this spiritual sojourn were Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of State General (Retired) VK Singh, and Additional Chief Secretary SP Goyal, all of whom also participated in the worship at Ramlala and Hanuman Garhi.
This marked Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s first tour of the month of December. In the previous month, he visited Ramlala and Hanuman Garhi three times for darshan and prayers.
The Chief Minister had earlier visited Ayodhya on November 9 to attend a cabinet meeting, during which he, along with ministers, offered prayers at both the temples. On November 11, Yogi Adityanath actively participated in the Deepotsav program, and the following day, he visited Hanuman Garhi and Ramlala for darshan.
