Dehradun, 28 December 2023– In a proactive move to address public grievances, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami convened at the Lohiahead Camp office in Udham Singh Nagar district on Thursday. During the meeting, Chief Minister Dhami issued directives to concerned officials, emphasizing the expeditious resolution of issues faced by the public.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Dhami underscored the importance of addressing problems with a focus on simplification, solution, resolution, and ensuring public satisfaction. He instructed District Magistrates to actively engage in resolving public concerns regularly, reflecting a commitment to responsive governance.
Chief Minister Dhami, who has been touring various districts in the state, highlighted his ongoing efforts to gather feedback on the implementation of government schemes. This approach aims to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by the public and to fine-tune governmental initiatives accordingly.
“All District Magistrates have also been instructed to hold Janata Darbar, Tehsil Day, and regular meetings of Block Development Committees (BDC) in the districts,” stated Chief Minister Dhami, emphasizing the need for direct interaction with the public at grassroots levels.
Earlier this week, Chief Minister Dhami participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Camp at Ramlila Maidan in Tanakpur, Champawat district. During the event, he honored various beneficiaries and inspected stalls set up by various government departments, demonstrating a hands-on approach to governance.
