Greater Noida, December 19, 2023: CEO Greater Noida Authority N.G. Ravi Kumar called a meeting to review the status of progress of operation ‘Kayakalp’ and checked the status of government schools in Greater Noida. He said that it is to be ensured that none of the schools be left without a boundary wall. He also instructed the officials for facelift of all the schools with proper co-ordination with office of the authority, education department and CSR.
On Monday the CEO visited the government schools in the area along with ACEO Medha Rupam and ACEO Annapurna Garg. He was also accompanied by BEO Rahul Panwar and the team of project department. 19 parameters were decided to be checked in view of bringing all the schools to same level and facelift them. The parameters included pure drinking water, toilets, water supply in toilets, fixing of tiles in toilets, disable friendly toilets, multi hand wash unit, fixing of floor tiles, blackboard, kitchen, white wash, ramp for differently abled, electrification in the classes, furniture, gate, boundary wall etc.
CEO instructed the project department that they should inspect every school by the respective work circle. A list of the work to be done in each school to be made, estimate prepared and tenders to be floated so that the work can be started immediately. He also instructed the officials to seek help from CSR. It is worth mentioning here that many of the schools in Bironda and Khairpur Gurjar have been provided with facilities under CSR fund only with the initiative taken by the GRENO. The CSR fund of Federal bank has been mooted for proving smart classes in the schools of Navada, Emnabad and Gadhi Samstipur. The CEO warned the officials of action against the person not taking this work on priority or acting with negligence. He also suggested using solar pumps for providing water in the toilets to save the hassle of payment of electricity bill.
