The Impressive TimesNew Delhi, March 31, 2024– Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, is slated to attend the INDIA Bloc’s grand rally at Ramlila Maidan on Sunday. She will deliver a message on behalf of the Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener, who is presently in custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) regarding an alleged excise liquor policy case.
The mega event, named ‘Loktantra Bachao’ or ‘Save Democracy’ rally, is being organized by opposition leaders in protest against the arrest of the AAP chief by the ED. AAP’s national spokesperson, Priyanka Kakkar, confirmed Sunita Kejriwal’s participation, stating that she would deliver a message from Arvind Kejriwal at the INDIA Alliance rally.
Aam Aadmi Party workers have already gathered at Ramlila Maidan to demonstrate against the CM’s arrest. Notable leaders from various political factions, including Congress, NCP, Shiv Sena (UBT), Samajwadi Party, RJD, DMK, National Conference, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, and the Aam Aadmi Party, are expected to participate in the rally.The rally is anticipated to draw significant attention as it brings together leaders from diverse political backgrounds under the banner of the INDIA Bloc, in a unified stance against what they perceive as unjust treatment towards Arvind Kejriwal.
