Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari Commends C-DOT’s Research Efforts

New Delhi, March 27, 2024: Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari, visited the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) Delhi Campus on March 26, 2024, expressing admiration for the Research and Development (R&D) endeavors of the C-DOT community.

C-DOT, a premier Telecom R&D center under the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications, Government of India, showcased its indigenous, secured telecom solutions tailored for critical infrastructure, including defense communications and Cyber Security.

During the visit, CEO of C-DOT, Dr. Rajkumar Upadhyay, presented a comprehensive overview of the telecom product portfolio and key security solutions to Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari. These solutions encompassed a range of cutting-edge technologies such as security operation centers, enterprise security centers, Quantum key distribution, and Post Quantum Cryptography.

Live demonstrations were conducted to illustrate the functional aspects of these solutions, providing firsthand insight into their capabilities.

Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari emphasized the importance of enhanced collaboration between C-DOT and the Air Force in developing futuristic and advanced secured communication solutions, particularly amidst the evolving landscape of modern warfare shifting towards data-centric approaches.
