There will be all-round development of Faridabad if Cong Govt is formed: Bhupendra Hooda

Faridabad, 10 March 2024-  Former Chief Minister of Haryana and Leader of Opposition Ch. Bhupendra Singh Hooda on Sunday shouted for change in Haryana from Faridabad Assembly. He said that the public anger seen in the urban area Faridabad shows that the BJP government is leaving Haryana and the Congress is coming. People have understood that now is the right time to get rid of the vote threat from this government. He called upon the people to unite and engage in propaganda to overthrow the BJP government. On Sunday, Mr. Hooda was addressing as the chief guest the ‘Public Outrage Rally’ organized by former Congress candidate Lakhan Singla at the ground located in Sector-12 of Faridabad Assembly constituency.

The rally was presided over by Haryana Pradesh Congress President Ch. Uday Bhan, while Rajya Sabha MP Deependra Hooda was also prominently present. On reaching the rally, Lakhan Kumar Singla and Maujiz Sardari of Faridabad assembly constituency met Mr. Hooda along with Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee President Ch. Senior Congressmen including Udaybhan, Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Hooda, Aftab Ahmed were welcomed with honor by garlanding them with big garlands and shawls.

While the chief guest Bhupendra Hooda and MP Deependra Hooda, who were elated with the huge crowd that gathered at the rally, openly praised the rally organizer Lakhan Singla from the stage, most of the speakers called Lakhan Singla a grassroots leader on the success of the rally.

Former Chief Minister Hooda, While addressing the rally, he fiercely attacked the BJP government over the poor condition of Faridabad. He said that Faridabad, which had its own identity at the world level under the Congress government, has now started being called Fakirabad in a way under the BJP government, in the name of development, only zero is visible here, whatever development projects are there, that too is of our Congress rule. It is a gift. If Faridabad has to be restored to its old form then Congress will have to be brought in again. As soon as the Congress government is formed, all-round development of Faridabad will be their first priority from the very first step. Referring to the broken law and order situation in the state, he said that today every person is troubled. The law and order situation is very bad. There is no need to tell anyone anything about Haryana. People themselves are victims and are facing problems. Not a day passes when there is no murder, robbery or threat of ransom. Central government figures show that Haryana has become the most unsafe state in the last 9 years. This morning itself, information was received about a person being shot dead in Murthal, Sonipat. This type of news is coming every day. He said that Haryana, which was number one in per capita income, per capita investment, job creation and law and order, is today number one in the entire country in unemployment, inflation and crime.

Hooda said that 2 lakh government posts are lying vacant in the state. He challenged the government to tell if it has done any one work in Faridabad in the last 10 years. Thousands of small and big factories have been closed here. There are no masters in schools, no doctors in hospitals and no employees in offices. Hooda said that after the elections, Congress government will be formed in the state and when the Congress government comes to power in the state, an old age pension of Rs 6000 per month will be given. Every family will be given 300 units of free electricity per month.

To provide relief from inflation, LPG cylinders will be given for Rs 500. Will start confirmed recruitment on 2 lakh vacant government posts, will make confirmed sanitation workers. We will re-start the scheme of 100-100 yards free plot and will provide government assistance to build a 2-room house on it. The creamy layer income limit of backward class will be increased from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. Will make a yellow card for every poor person. Will re-implement the Bring Medal, Get Position scheme for the players. Will make the state drug free. Will close the anti-people portal. Will implement old pension scheme for government employees. Will make Haryana number 1 again and will take Faridabad forward.

On this occasion, State Congress President Ch. Udaybhan openly targeted the false guarantees and rhetoric of the BJP government and said that all the guarantees given by the BJP till date have become a laughing stock among the people. The crowd gathered here is a symbol of the increasing public anger against this government. Raising questions on the false announcements of the BJP government, he asked that what happened to the Prime Minister who had announced Metro approval till Faridabad-Gurgaon? Till date not a single penny has been given for this scheme. There is a government in the country and state of people who make similar false announcements. We have to be united to get rid of this government.
MP Deependra Hooda said that the situation in Haryana is not hidden from anyone. The shine that was visible in Haryana before 2014 has faded today after 10 years of Khattar government. The people of Faridabad gave oxygen to BJP by winning the 2019 elections, but during the Covid period, the same BJP government did not even give oxygen to Faridabad. This government has derailed not only Haryana but also Faridabad from the track of development. After 10 years, Khattar government got the Prime Minister to cut the ribbon of 3 projects in one month during the election season. But all three projects, Hansi Maham Railway Line, Central Yoga and Naturopathy Research Institute of Jhajjar and inaugurated yesterday.The upcoming Dwarka Expressway was such that its approval, foundation stone and a lot of work was also done during our time. He questioned whether the Khattar government could not find a project of its own in 10 years for which approval, foundation stone laying and work had also been started and completed. He further said that in the name of development, nothing has happened in the last 10 years except the construction of a luxurious office of BJP in Faridabad. Enumerating the works done in Faridabad during the Hooda government of Congress, he said that Badarpur flyover, six lane Mathura road, metro, bypass, establishment of IMT, ESI Medical College, YMCA University were built. At the same time, the BJP government announced to make Faridabad a smart city but far from being a smart city, it has turned it into a hell city. The condition of cleanliness is so bad that even when it does not rain in Faridabad, boats start plying. During our government, development was accelerated by building Badarpur flyover, 4 lane road, ESI hospital etc. Speaking about the problem of record unemployment in the state, Deepender Hooda said that the BJP government has committed a big betrayal with the educated youth of Haryana. More than 2 lakh posts are lying vacant. Thousands of government posts were abolished. Raw recruitment is being done on permanent posts through Skill Corporation. The youth are being cheated by holding Group D recruitment before every election. Overall, the work of providing employment is being done only on paper. Corruption is at its peak in this government. Every day a new scam is coming to light. The colonies of the poor are being destroyed but the Aravali lands are being handed over to big industrialists. This government carried out dozens of scams including illegal mining scam, liquor scam, registry scam, recruitment scam etc. A scam of Rs 200 crore was committed in Faridabad Municipal Corporation. The work was done only on paper and all the money was spent. Deependra Hooda said that BJP-JJP had made an agreement in the 2019 elections not to give old age pension of Rs 5100 but to loot the state and who will loot more from which department.
On this occasion, rally organizer and Congress leader Lakhan Kumar Singla expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the thousands of people who turned out for the rally despite the scorching heat and told former Chief Minister Hooda that Faridabad assembly constituency is in the Smart City. It comes, but the conditions here are worst, broken roads, flowing sewerage water tell the story of this place. He said that the people here are worried about their homes, he demanded from Mr. Hooda from the stage that it is certain that in the coming six months you will be the Chief Minister of the state, then this distressed Faridabad assembly constituency will again be given all-round development. Take it further and if the Congress government is formed in Haryana, do the work of making the houses of the people permanent from the first step, the people here will vote Congress back from Faridabad with a huge majority.
