Faridabad, January 31: The annual event of international Surajkund Craft Mela is scheduled to start on 2nd February and would be running upto 18th. In order to ensure smooth movement of traffic, traffic advisory has been released by Faridabad police under the guidance of DCP Traffic Amit Yashvardhan. He called upon all the vehicle drivers adhere to the traffic advisory to save not only themselves but also others from any inconvenience during commuting in the Surajkund area.
The advisory speaks of a change in the route for people commuting from Gurugram road to Delhi. It has been advised that heavy vehicles running on this route have to take road from Sainik Colony turn in near the Mosque and then taking the pyali chowk road to connect Mathura road via Bata Chowk. There would be a ‘No Entry’ towards Badkhal road from Sainik Colony turn. Entry of heavy vehicles would also be banned towards Prahladpur border and the road from shooting range to Surajkund.
For light vehicles too, the police have appealed to commuters using the road from shooting range to Faridabad to avoid using the Surajkund road for their travel. This would save them from the inconvenience of traffic jams and chaos. The police advisory have been released in view of advising the people that are not destined to the Surajkund Mela, to avoid the stretch so that they don’t feel inconvenience as well as they is not a part of adding to the traffic jam too.
