The decision of allocating 7 percent of land for the farmers, the land of which has been acquired was also underlined again. A decision was taken to satisfy the demand raised by the farmers to whom the 7 percent land has been allotted, for waiving the interest raised on the allotees of these lands. It was informed that in order to ensure smooth movement of traffic on Yamuna Expressway and Eastern Peripheral Expressway, 4 loops, 4 ramps and additional four ramps were to be constructed that were delayed due to difficulty in acquisition of land and allotment of 7 percent land to the land owners. Since, all the hurdles have been removed now; the cost of this project has risen from 75.50 crores approved earlier to Rs.122.89 crores. After going through the details, NHAI has also accorded its approval on the same.
A major decision was taken in the meeting regarding the auction of institutional sites over 10 acres in size. It was decided that plots of more than 10 acres of size for institutions like degree college, PG college, Management Institute, Technical institute, sports college, sports academy, medical college cum hospital etc. to be exempted from going for e-bidding for these plots. Another major decision was taken in respect of sector -22D. Approval was given for change of floor where the allotment has already been given but lease deed not yet registered. However, the provision will apply to only those applicants that are either senior citizens, differently abled or are suffering from some critical disease. Till now the allotment done on the basis of ‘first come first serve’ basis was understood to be full and final. The allotees welcomed the decision.
