Faridabad, 13 Jan 2024– In a vibrant celebration of National Youth Day, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Faridabad unit, in collaboration with Jiva Public School and Shreeram Model School, organised the Seminar on Yuva Manthan – Viksit Bharat 2047.
The program was inaugurated by chief guest Shriram Aggarwal, National Minister of Vanvasi Kalyan Raksha Parivar, as special guest Rajiv Jaitley, Media Advisor to CM Haryana, IPS Amit Yashvardhan, DCP NIT Faridabad, Dr. B.K. Binny Sareen, Founder and President, Global Initiative for Peace and Wellbeing, Dr. Amrita Jyoti, Chairperson, Shreeram Model School and Dr. Rishipal Chauhan, Chairman, Jiva Group lit the lamp and accompanied the council song.
ABVP District Convenor Gayatri Rathore urged youth to draw inspiration from Swamiji’s teachings and take the ‘No to Drugs’ pledge, initiating the program’s core theme.
The event, attended by 600 youth from Faridabad’s colleges, universities, and schools. Shriram Aggarwal, highlighted Swami Vivekananda’s enduring influence, emphasizing the need to adopt his thoughts and philosophy. During this, Rajiv Jaitley hailed Swami Vivekananda’s simple yet profound life and thoughts as a guiding light for success. He encouraged the students with his motivational words and said that every student is a champion and bright future for a developed India. Apart from this he inspired them to hone their talent and work on it. With their talent and skills, India will become the country with the first largest economy in the world. While administering a powerful ‘No to Drugs’ oath to the engaged and spirited youth, DCP NIT Amit Yashvardhan passionately urged the youth to combat addiction, stressing the importance of their role in society and nation-building. Cybercrime awareness and traffic rules were also emphasized. Dr. BK Binny Sareen, through his address, inspired the youth by quoting different inspiring incidents of Swami Vivekananda and said that today’s youth have an important role in realizing the dream of a Viksit Bharat 2047.
Dr. Amrita Jyoti addressed the challenges faced by today’s youth, advocating protection through meditation via the Har Ghar Dhyan Abhiyan. In a closing presidential speech, Dr. Rishipal Chauhan inspired the youth, extending gratitude to guests and participants. ABVP Faridabad City Minister Raman Parashar skillfully conducted the event, attended by dignitaries including ABVP Faridabad District Chief Saroj Kumar, District Coordinator Gayatri Rathore, Department Organization Minister Manjeet Igrah, Badkhal City Minister Sumit Yadav, Tigaon City Minister Siddharth, Satendra Sorot, Manmohan Gupta, Rajkumar Sharma, Kuldeep Punia, Sachin, Seema Bhardwaj, Shreeram Model School Principal Vikram Singh Rathore, Vice Principals Jyoti Kohli and Kanchan Bhatia, School Manager Ashok Sharma and many other dignitaries were present.
